Brian Klutch Photography Launched

You have probably enjoyed Brian Klutch's photos in Popular Science, Maxim or Men's Health. We had the privilege of building a new site to display Brian's constantly evolving style of photography. The object of this design is to keep the interface super simple. We even avoided the traditional thumbnail/launch approach and chose to show the big versions right from the get-go. By using an active progressive loader, images are re-sampled from already loaded data as the browser window size is reduced. If the browser window is expanded, the image is smoothed and enlarged, and when the load cycle allows, refreshed from the server so that the highest quality image is visible all the time. Flash's BitmapData class allows smoothing of loaded images, which makes this site look slick.
